Robert G. Streich, 49, of Maroa passed away Saturday September 10, 2011 with his family by his side.
A service to celebrate Robert's life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday September 16, 2011 at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel, Highway 51, Decatur. Visitation will be Thursday September 15, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery.

Robert was born on November 21, 1961 in Decatur the son of Glen J. and Barbara L. Wiles Streich. Robert was a member of the Maroa Christian Church, his hobbies were horses, hunting, fishing, dirt biking, motorcycle riding and was noted as being quite a daredevil. Robert worked for DeAngelo Brothers, Inc and also helped on the family farm.
Robert is survived by his parents Glen and Barbara of Maroa; favorite daughter Carmyn Randall Streich of Harristown; sister Suzy Powell and husband Jim of Cerro Gordo; two nephews Bradley and Brandon Powell; grandmother Mary Baker of Mt. Pulaski; his significant other Connie Wilson of Maroa and her two granddaughters Hailee and McKayla.

May God keep you in his arms in this time of loss. We can remember all the good times David and Bobby had together. I think the Good Lord has his hands full in heaven trying to keep those two in line. I know they have motorcycles there. Thinking about the entire family and keeping you in our prayers
